Jimmy,
Hello, my name is Greg and I'm a freshman at Lafayette College. A little less than four years ago I attended the National Youth Leadership Forum for Medicine, which was hosted at Villanova University. Funny enough, I received an e-mail from someone at College Board the other day asking if I would write a short essay describing my experiences. As I collecting my thoughts on the forum I was thinking about the presentation you gave there, and I just wanted to let you know what an impact that had on me.

I recall talking to you for a little while afterward, but due to the pace of the forum had to quickly move on. I remember us talking about how medicine is not just about healing the physical disease, but about providing treatment to the patient both physically and emotional. We also discussed how some organization that were supposed to be the most caring did not come through at the end, ie churches that had turned you away, etc.

I'm still very interested in medicine, and I just wanted to let you know that I still frequently think of the talk you gave us. I really got a lot out of it, from the medical side and also on the note of respecting ours and others' bodies. I just wanted to thank you again and to check in to see how everything is going on your end. Hope all is well!

Greg
